Packaging lines
Metal mesh bundles
At SAIZAR, we design packaging lines for metal mesh packages to automate the end of the line and achieve a more stable, safe, and repeatable process. This solutions is part of our range of packaging lines and is custom-designed based on the type of package, productivity, and available floor space.
The goal is for your package to reach the shipping area aligned, strapped, packaged, and prepared using the equipment your process truly needs: conveying, forming, strapping, weighing, or labelling, among others.
How we set up your line at SAIZAR
We design each line based on the actual specifications of your facility: the product to be strapped, weight, minimum and maximum dimensions, how the product is received, productivity, type of strapping, and any auxiliary equipment you wish to integrate. We also offer turnkey projects, tailoring the design to the specific needs and circumstances of each client.
Bundle Feeding
We can design the line so that the package reaches the strapping station in the most efficient way, depending on how the product exits your previous process. This decision affects the transport, design, and space required for equipment installation. Â
Fixed strapping machine or side-shifting strapping machine
In our automated solutions, we can offer a design where the strapping machine remains fixed and the package moves to each strapping position, or a configuration where the strapping machine moves laterally while the package remains in place. SAIZAR already uses this approach in various solutions for different industrial products, and it adapts well to a wide range of packages.
Standard equipment in a production line for metal mesh packages
Conveying and transfer between stations
The line can incorporate conveyor carts, roller conveyors, chain conveyors, or elevators, depending on each customer’s needs. This allows for a continuous flow between stations and enables the line to be adapted to different types of layouts.
Package forming
If you need to stabilize the package before strapping, we integrate various forming systems into the line. This type of equipment helps maintain the package’s geometry, reduce misalignment, and improve the repeatability of the subsequent strapping process.
Automatic strapping with steel or PET
The line can be equipped with an automatic strapping machine for steel or polyester strap, depending on the mechanical requirements, the type of package, and its subsequent handling. In automatic solutions, it is common to use steel or PET strap in widths of 16, 19, 25, or 32 mm, depending on the project.
Weighing and labelling
To complete the line, we can incorporate weighing and labelling systems. This ensures that packages have improved traceability and are more fully integrated into your logistics process.

On-site benefits
A well-designed packaging line for wire mesh gives you greater control over the package and reduces the need of manual operations. By integrating conveying, forming, and strapping into a single solution, you achieve a smoother and more consistent workflow.
You also gain flexibility because you can define the architecture of the strapping process and auxiliar equipment based on your actual product: fixed or mobile strapping machine, steel or PET, weighing or labelling. This ability to configure the line by equipment is one of the keys to adapt the solution to the process—not the other way around.

What we need to prepare a proposal for you
To define the solution correctly, we typically need the following information:
Product to be strapped and its weight
Width, height, and length:
minimum and maximum package dimensions
How the product arrives to the line
What elements you want to integrate:
conveyor system, forming system, steel or PET strapping machine, weighing, labelling, or rings
Target productivity
Available floor space
It also helps us to receive a photo and floor plan of the space where the installation is going to be carried out, as well as a photo of the product you want to strap, as this allows us to ajust the line design in advance.
Technical support and spare parts
In addition to design and integration, we provide technical support for maintenance and the supply of spare parts. This is particularly important when the equipment being offered is part of the end of line process, and any delay affects exit of the product or storage.
Frequently asked questions
What does a packaging line for metal mesh packages include?
It may include a transport system, a forming system, an automatic strapping machine for steel or PET, an automatic binder, weighing, labelling, ring insertion, etc.
Can we use steel or PET strapping?
Yes, with our automated solutions, we can use either steel or polyester strap, depending on the application.
What strap widths are used in these solutions?
In automatic strapping, it is common to use straps with widths of 16, 19, 25, or 32 mm, depending on the project and product.
Does the strapping machine have to be fixed?
No, we can set up a fixed strapping machine where the package is moved to each position or a strapping machine with lateral movement while the package remains still. Â
Does it make sense to integrate a forming system into wire mesh packaging?
Yes, when you need to better stabilize the package’s shape before strapping. That is why the forming system is part of the equipment we can integrate into an automated line.
Can the rings be fed automatically?
Yes, we can integrate ring insertion systems, as well as other components or consumables that the customer may require.
Can we add weighing and labelling to the same line?
Yes, the weighing system and the labelling system are two pieces of equipment that we can integrate into the line.
Can the line be integrated into another line the customer already has?
Yes, we can integrate this new packaging line into a line the customer already has in their production facility, allowing the product to be automatically transferred from one line to the other without any issues. Â
What information do you need to prepare a quote?
Product information, weight, minimum and maximum dimensions, how the product arrives and how it should be release, productivity, available space, and the equipment you want to integrate into the line.
Do you offer full-service projects and after-sales support?
Yes, we handle turnkey projects and also provide technical support and replacement parts.
