Complementary elements
Automatic labelling
At SAIZAR, we integrate automatic labelling systems so that product identification becomes an integral part of the strapping and packaging process itself. The aim is for the product to leave the line not only strapped and ready for dispatch, but also identified and traceable within the production flow itself.
The labelling system is designed to provide better control over the product based on the information printed on the label, and can be integrated into an automated production line alongside other equipment such as conveyors, weighing machines, strapping machines or wrapping machines.
How we integrate labelling in SAIZAR
ImpresiĂłn de datos e identificaciĂłn del producto
We have designed the labelling system as a complementary feature within our automatic strapping machines and packaging lines. We do not view it as a standalone operation, but rather as an integral part of the process, ensuring that identification is seamlessly integrated into the production and dispatch workflow.
We can work with labels printed on paper or plastic tags, and can also consider other labelling systems depending on the product. We can include any information you require on the label, such as product specifications, date of manufacture, QR codes, barcodes and other relevant details, with the option to print in different colours and sizes.
Automatic application to the product or a tag
The label can be applied directly to the product itself, where it is adhered, or to a plastic, metal or ceramic tag, depending on the application, product, temperature, etc. Furthermore, we supply the automatic handling and application system to ensure that this labelling is consistently integrated into the production line’s automated cycle.
Labelling integrated with strapping
When labelling is integrated with strapping, the label must have two slots for the strap to pass through, so that the label is positioned alongside the strapping. This integration is particularly useful when you want the identification to be attached to the product at the exact point where the strapping has been applied.
The system may be different if the label is plastic and features the two aforementioned slots, or if, conversely, the label is to be affixed to an external tag, which must also have two slots for the strap to pass through.
Typical applications
We can install the labelling system on wire coils, sheet metal coils, various package formats and other industrial products where material identification forms part of the quality control and dispatch process.
Furthermore, in our automatic line solutions, labelling can be combined with other complementary equipment, such as weighing, the insertion of protectors, wooden blocks, rings or wrapping, so that the product leaves the line fully packaged and identified.
SAIZAR automatic labelling systems
On-site benefits
Integrating labelling into the production line helps you operate in a more organised manner and gives you greater control over product identification. By automating the labelling process, you reduce manual tasks and ensure that product information is consistently attached to the product throughout storage, handling and dispatch.
Typical benefits of this solution:
- More traceability, as the product is identified within the packaging process itself.
- More control over the product, thanks to the information printed on the label.
- Seamless integration with the strapping, using labels or tags designed to accommodate the strapping process.
- Adaptation to the product, with printing on the label itself, on a tag or on other systems as required.
- In-line integration, as part of an automatic strapping and packaging solution.

What we need to prepare a quote for you
To properly define the labelling system, we usually need to know the product to be labelled, its dimensions, the target productivity and the point in the process where you wish to apply the label. It is also important to know whether the labelling will be integrated with strapping, whether the label should be applied to the product itself or to a tag, and what other equipment you wish to include in the line.
We also need to know what information is to be printed, how you wish the information to be processed, the label dimensions, the type of printer and any other information that may be required to prepare the quotation.
It is very helpful for us to have a photo of the installation site, a photo of the current label and another of the product to be labelled, so that we can better tailor the system design from the outset.
Frequently asked questions
Is the automatic labelling system integrated into the production line or is it a stand-alone unit?
We integrate it as part of the strapping and packaging line or into the strapping machine itself, depending on the application. It can also be a stand-alone unit, but it must be able to communicate with the customer’s PC in order to print the label with the required information.
What materials can the label be printed on and applied to?
We can print on paper or plastic plates, as well as using other methods depending on the product.
What information can the label contain?
It can include details such as product specifications, date of manufacture, QR codes, barcodes and any other information you require.
Can the label be applied directly to the product?
Yes, it can be stuck onto the product itself or onto a small plastic or metal plate.
How is the label integrated with the strapping?
The label must have two slits for the strap to pass through, so that it remains secured alongside the strapping.
On which products can this system be installed?
We can install it on wire coils, sheet metal coils, various types of packages and other industrial products.
Can it be combined with weighing or other equipment?
Yes, the labelling system can be integrated into a production line alongside weighing, transport systems, wrapping and other complementary components. Information regarding the product’s weight can be included on the label to be printed.
Can you also automate the handling and application of the label?
Yes, we supply the system for automatically handling and applying the label to the product itself.
What information do you need to prepare a quote?
We need to know which product is to be placed on the line, its dimensions, the type of labelling required, the placement point, the information to be printed, the product temperature, and the equipment you wish to integrate into the line.
Do you offer turnkey projects and technical support?
Yes, we provide turnkey projects and offer technical support and spare parts.
